Perpetual Ukadike is set to represent Nigeria at the Miss International Beauty Pageant 2024 in Japan.
The pageant has brought together 73 contestants worldwide since October 29, including representatives from African countries and major nations. with the contestants engaging in various competitions and initiatives in a build-up to the grand finale.
Perpetual is joined by contestants from Cote D’Ivoire, Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and South Africa. Other participating countries include Argentina, Laos, Luxembourg, France, Albania, Germany, Ecuador, Canada, Honduras, Panama, New Zealand, Cuba, El Salvador, and Guatemala.
Born and bred in Imo State, Perpetual Ukadike was crowned the Beauty of Africa International Pageant (BAIP) winner at the 17th edition in August 2024.
The 27-year-old holds a B.Sc in History and International Studies from the University of Calabar. A businesswoman and aspiring actress, she is also the founder of a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young girls, The Girls Dream Foundation.
Miss International is a Japan-based international major beauty pageant organized by the International Culture Association. First held in 1960, it is the fourth-largest pageant in the world in terms of the number of national winners participating in the international contest.
Andrea Rubio of Venezuela holds the Miss International title after winning the competition in 2023.
The grand finale will be held on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall.
