The father-daughter bond between Bimbo Ademoye and her father is so heartwarming to see.

The ‘Selina’ actress showered her father with the sweetest words on his birthday today, June 13.

Sharing a video of their favourite moments together on Instagram, she wrote:

A hero without an Ego, there’s hardly any. If I could pause the whole world to celebrate you, I most definitely will. My superhero, My very own Superman, Spider-Man, Batman all in one.

I remember when I was a kid and my friends would tell me how they’d run into their rooms whenever their daddy got back from work and turn off the tv. I couldn’t relate because I always stayed by the window with my siblings to check if my daddy’s car was coming from the junction so we could jump on him and hug him .

Sometime last month, I had a challenge and was stuck . I called my dad and he immediately left everything he was doing to help sort it out. He called back and asked if all was well and I said “I’m perfectly fine daddy “ . He responded saying “ok let me still be on standby Incase you need me again “ 🥹. At my big age he’s still my go to .. I’ve always known my dad to be a very unproblematic kind of guy UNTIL YOU MESS WITH HIS KIDS. He once told someone , do what you want to me , I’d take it, but mess with my children, you’d see a side of me you never knew existed. I mean who has 4 kids and adopts 9 more? I could write a whole book about this Superman right here.

The strength I got from you, My morals you instilled in me

That spirit of hard work. That’s all you. (When people say I’m hardworking, I smile because they haven’t met my dad. He can work round the clock )

How to love without conditions, you thought me that.
Give without expecting. You won’t stop ringing that in.
When you give and a megaphone follows it becomes an advert so give in silence.
I could go on and on about to pops. But a whole book would never be enough. In my next life, poor or rich, I’d still want to be your child .

Thank you God for giving me my backbone, my biggest support system, and my best friend to be my daddy. I love you dada. Happy birthday to my superhero. I’d forever strive hard to make you proud. I love you so much.

Recall that Ademoye won the ‘AMVCA Best Actress In A Comedy Award‘ in May 2023.
